Expanded Hilversum Recording of Bill Evans
As part of this year’s Record Day 2021 on June 12, 2021, records stores will release an extended special pressing of Bill Evans from Hilversum (The Netherlands 1969). The 3-LP set includes recordings of Evans’ only version of Duke Ellington’s “I Let a Song Go Out of My Heart” known to exist, plus two rare tracks of the trio backed by the world’s leading pop and jazz orchestra, the Metropole Orchestra.
